March 14 - March 20

March 14th. Random Lego Guy. With 3 boys, Legos are everywhere and definitely a part of our everyday life.

March 15th. I took a picture of the big "Drug Free" poster in the hall at the kids' school. Specifically, I took a picture of where they signed their names, pledging to stay drug free.

March 16th. I had to practically drag my 3 boys to see this movie. I loved it. It brought back good memories of when Chief and I got to be in the Princess and the Frog show on the Mark Twain at Disneyland back in Nov. I also tucked in the ticket receipt with the picture -- 50 cents per person!

March 17th. Happy St. Patrick's Day! Our traditional St. Patrick's Day dinner consists of green scrambled eggs served with toasted English muffins, melted cheese and ham, green applesauce, and green milk. For dessert we have Smashed Oreos n Ice Cream Dessert. Line a dish with smashed Oreos, add a layer of Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream, top with more smashed Oreos. Mmmm!

March 18th. Chief did a little science experiment for us today. Pour some pepper on a paper. Rub a balloon to give it some static. Hold the balloon above the paper and watch the pepper jump up onto the balloon. Very cool!

March 19th. Maxwell Smart (1st Grade) had the word "metamorphosis" for one of his spelling words a few months ago. He enjoys letting us know that he still knows how to spell it. :)

March 20th. The kids' noodle jar. They get to put one noodle in for every 10 minutes they read or let me read to them. The jar holds exactly 250 noodles. When it is full, they get a prize.

  2. I loved your pictures this week. I haven't seen the Princess Frog yet but plan too, funny you dragged the boys to it. I like the noodle idea, might use it this summer to keep them on track. The St. Patrick's day menu sounds fun, I didn't do anything special this year, too busy. Thanks for sharing, have a good week.
