March 21 - March 27

Can't believe another week has come and gone!

March 21st. I was asked to give a talk in church about the Atonement and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. This is one of the scriptures I used. John 3:16.

March 22nd. These are the books my little 4 year old guy chose for me to read to him today.

March 23rd. Tonight was our monthly Cub Scout Pack Meeting. The theme was "Take Flight." A man came and talked to the cub scouts about what makes an airplane fly. Then we all went out to the field behind the church and he flew his big remote control planes for the boys. They all loved it!

March 24th. Maxwell Smart was in need of some new shoes. He's always had shoes with velcro straps. He picked these shoes out at Target. I told him he'd need to learn to tie his shoes if we bought them. He was very determined. We came home from the store, I left the room for a few minutes, went back in the living room ... and he had learned to tie his shoes! Chief talked him through the motions and he just did it! He was very proud of himself and called Dad at work to tell him the good news. :)

March 25th. The boys have been all about making (and flying) paper airplanes since Pack Meeting the other night. Here are just a few of the planes and their various landing spots.

March 26th. Poor little guy. A game of tag ended with my 4 year old being tagged and falling into the little ledge where the stone and wood meet on the garage. No stitches needed, but he had a good cry and snuggled with me longer than he normally does.

March 27th. This morning we went to an Easter egg hunt on the lawn behind our church. It was over all too soon and the boys are looking forward to another egg hunt at Grandma's house in a few days.
